A key part of the University Cardiology team, Lisa has served, since 2000, as a Nurse Practitioner for the group.  A graduate of East Tennessee State University, Lisa received both her Masters in Science in Nursing and her Post-Masters Certification from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. 

When describing her job as a Nurse Practitioner, Lisa says she most enjoys her interaction with the patients and their families, the collaboration with her co-workers and physicians, and the challenge of cardiology to always be learning new things.    

Lisa stays active in her role as an FNP serving as a frequent lecturer for the University of Tennessee College of Nursing and coordinating a wellness program for the UC staff of over sixty employees.   

When she is not at the office or doing rounds at the hospital, Lisa enjoys scuba diving, boating, traveling, and spending time with her friends and family—especially her niece, Abby, and her nephew, Grayson.
