Myrwood C. Besozzi, MD
Dr. Besozzi was born in Dover, Ohio, and earned
his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, Tucson. He then went on to receive
his MD from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Following his completion of both an internship and a residency at the
University of Miami Medical Center and Affiliated Hospitals, Dr. Besozzi
continued his postgraduate work with a fellowship in cardiology at the
University of Miami Medical Center and a fellowship in nuclear medicine
at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Dr. Besozzi has two children. His daughter, Jennifer, is married and
is a graduate student at the University of Georgia. His son, Michael,
is a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. In his spare
time, Dr. Besozzi enjoys flying, traveling, playing both the violin and
the piano (especially opera music), fishing, playing tennis, and hiking.
